The Biomedical Equipment Asset Manager is responsible for managing all preventive maintenance activities. These include preventive maintenances performed by in-house Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMET), as well as those performed by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and third party vendors. The manager provides on-site leadership for all PM components of the medical equipment management program, participates in the development of departmental and entity continuous quality improvement initiatives. The manager helps maximize patient safety by supporting proper use, application, and operational performance of patient care equipment.
