Cyber Security Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to sit locally for a large retail client headquartered in the greater Pittsburgh area! Our client recently kicked off a major project to build their own home-grown eCommerce platform and applications that will be used internally and then deployed out into their 600+ retail locations. In this role, the Cyber Security Analyst will be a member of the RISC team and will be a subject matter expert for internal customers, which includes consulting with and providing security requirements, guidelines, and processes and validating those security controls. Additionally, the Cloud Security Analyst will implement and maintain security controls, both cloud-native and third-party solutions as needed/required by the organization to manage information technology risks.



Additional responsibilities will include:



* Maintain functional knowledge of organizational and national/international security frameworks, standards, and guidelines in order to apply those to new and current organizational applications and resources.

* Provide guidance, interpretation, and education on specific security policies related to projects, applications, and new technologies & methodologies as business needs evolve.

* Collaborate with RISC management in creating and maintaining enterprise security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures).

* Implement, maintain, document, and monitor security controls specific to cloud providers.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes, and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required.

* 3 yrs of IT related exp

* 1 year if Cyber Security Cloud Exp. (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
