Job Description
One of our large chemical manufacturing clients it hiring a Analytical Chemist to join their quality team in Philadelphia, PA. This person is responsible for the analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, stability, and finished products. Is also responsible for the scheduling, calibration, and maintenance of equipment. Also performs method development and validation for various analytical methods. As a member of the team, you will be expected to follow and help plan the daily operations within the lab and communicate with all areas in the company to meet client and company deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
· Experience with analytical instrumentation, Spectrophotometer, ICP, IC, etc.
· Experience with analytical techniques, Method Development/Validation, chromatography, pipetting, solution preparation, etc.
· Experience in electronic systems, some we use are, Excel, Word, etc.
· Able to perform or learn various analytical tests, wet analysis, moisture, hardness, pH, etc.
· Execute against SOPs in a laboratory environment
· Prevent deviations and investigations
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in chemistry or related field
- Previous hands on lab experience, 3-5 years
