Job Description

Operate relatively autonomous within procedures, methods and techniques, as a technician. You will perform repetitive assignments and decide on the method and sequence of work for Philips device repairs.



You are responsible for

* Conducting evaluation, repair, and estimates on complex medical devices.

* Testing devices consistent with service and other specifications.

* Determining repair approach from known solutions based upon technical knowledge.

* Documenting investigations and rework properly in the Quality Notification system.

* Navigating in Quality System to find appropriate procedures.

* Effectively communicating with fellow technicians, engineers and supervisors as required

* Being actively involved in the departments' QCDSP system and addressing basic problems through QEKs and 5Ys.

* Duties and tasks are repetitive.

Required Skills & Experience

* Associates degree (Electrical Engineering Tech preferred) or equivalent work experience

* 3-5 years professional experience

* Possess good understanding of electronic principles.

* Experience conducting failure investigations on electrical or medical device products.

* Have a general understanding of assigned product test stations and the ability to isolate minor to complex issues involving the test station and the product.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* General SAP Experience: Must be able to gather and provide line yield data from SAP, be able to open and close QN's, find documents in SAP, understand how the fields in the QN's relate to the information in the Line Yield Reports, and when new defect codes should be created, and how to create requests for new codes.

* Degree in the Electrical field
