Our large healthcare provider client located in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Manager of Revenue Cycle to join their team. This is a primarily remote position, but will be required to go on site 1-2 times a month, and will need to be PA or NJ residents. This individual will be responsible for a team of 11 complex claim denial representatives and a Team Lead. On a day to day basis they will be overseeing/managing workques in EPIC related to Hospital/Facility follow up, determine daily/weekly strategy, and manage the productivity of their team. Additionally, they will be responsible for the relationship between internal and external stakeholders that influence the production and volumes of denials (front end access teams and payor representatives). The Manager of Revenue Cycle will also be responsible for staff development, reviews, interviews, payroll, etc.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field OR 4 years of experience in Hospital Billing (billing, denials/follow up)
At least 2 years of experience in management or at a supervisor level
EPIC experience
Strong understanding of UB04, Hospital/Facility Billing, Insurance Payors (commercial and gov't payors)
