Job Description

The Financial Analyst Trade Relations is responsible for supporting the trade relations functions of the company by providing high quality analyses and reporting quantifying the impact of various deal structures on costs and claims utilization. This position has no direct reports.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create, prepare and maintain financial models to support negotiations and monitor the performance

of pharmaceutical manufacturer agreements

- Analyze savings opportunities available from rebates, formulary, benefit design

- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses to support decision making and executive management

- Quantify the financial impact of various formulary strategy alternatives

- Provide consultation regarding trends, forecasting and future planning

- Coordinate the timely implementation of pharmaceutical manufacturer agreements

- Ensure audit trail and compliance systems are maintained

- Participate in development and implementation of initiatives, as needed, to improve processes and

procedures

- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, mathematics, or statistics

Financial and statistical reporting knowledge and experience

Ability to identify the key parts of a contract and effectively support negotiations

Intermediate in SQL or Tableau Reporting

PBM - Pharmacy Benefit Management Industry Experience
