Job Description

his position will collaborate with the Marketing Communications team and other stakeholders to define the strategy of each corporate trade show, while supporting favorable and consistent Airgas brand, messaging and product image. This position will also manage the logistics for other events such as webinars with the Marketing Communications team.

-Understand goals and target audience for each event, to help the team set and achieve goals

-Research and present new ideas based on industry trends for both exhibitions and other events like virtual trade shows and webinars

-Prepare, present, and manage budgets for each conference/event. Negotiate contracts as needed

Manage inventory of trade show assets with Art Guild

-Secure exhibit space and/or other venues in order of priority per show, with best position in mind

-Plan exhibit layout with stakeholders and liaise with vendors to determine show requirements and cost efficiencies for each exhibit

-Manage hotel blocks and other accommodation logistics, administration, and bookings including extra event space for meetings and pre show meetings associated with a show meetings with assistance from Office Manager

-Manage booth staff, uniforms and registration badges with assistance from Office Manager

-Coordinate the logistical requirements such as security, equipment rentals, and catering services

-Run and manage the exhibit floor to ensure the event operates smoothly, assist stakeholders with booth duty schedules

-Manage lead process on the show floor to ensure leads are correctly captured and qualified

-Assist stakeholders with vendors, sponsors, and guests management

-Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to during the exhibition or event.

-Work with Marketing Communications to ensure messaging is consistent from booth through to all promotional components

-Track and analyze event success using results to measure ROI to identify areas of improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors in Related Field (Project planning, communications, public relations, marketing, or advertising)

5+ years in tradeshow management, exhibition planning, project management
