Infusion Pharmacy Technician

A Large Healthcare provider is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Philadelphia.

Shift:

8 Hour Shift - Mo-Fr, Operating Hours 7 AM - 8:30 PM (shifts are rotating), No weekends, evenings, or holidays



This position consists of working with high-risk, hazardous drugs in the infusion center such as chemotherapy medications and compound IV as well as preparing sterile products in a clean room. Some of the main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* receive order shipments from McKesson

* Refill OmniCells for the nurses

* Batching the medication

* Mixing the non-hazardous/hazardous medications as the patients come in

* Sterile Compounding



Training will be 3-4 weeks

COVID Vaccinated

1+ Years of Experience working in a hospital

Experience Compounding Medication in a Sterile environment

IV Experience

Pharmacy Technician Certification

* Pharmacy Tech Certification is not required for the contract period, but necessary to go perm. Contractors will have 6 months to get certified
