A large security client is looking for a Remote Automation Quality Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining automation test framework; developing CI/CD pipelines; creating and adding automated tests to reduce manual testing; as well as troubleshooting issues and documenting software defects using JIRA. Additionally, this individual will work remotely.
- Proficient in at least one development language (i.e. Python, Ruby, Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, etc.)
- Familiar with SDLC concepts (i.e. testing, design, deployment)
- Experience with web services (i.e. REST, SOAP, web sockets)
- Experience with data storage systems (i.e. SQL, Key-Value, Document Store, JSON)
- Debugging experience in Linux
- Experience with CI/CD installation and configuration with a tool like Jenkins
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a test engineer
- 1+ years' experience creating and maintaining automated test framework
- Experience with Postman
- Experience using GIT for version control
