* Insight Global is looking for a candidate to join the Supply Chain Department for our client as an Inventory Planner. This candidate will be responsible for fielding requests from sales and customers through emailing and weekly meetings with the team. The remainder of their day will consist of forecasting future needs and importing requests that follow forecasts. Candidate will be handling the importation and production of material for plants all around the world and then working alongside additional supply chain team. The Supply Planning Analyst role will be responsible for quantitative analysis, and decision support, on a broad range of supply-side and demand-side issues. They will review customer orders vs. contract/forecast to ensure commitments are met and to improve accuracy for future supply planning. The Supply Planning Analyst works closely with the Supply Planning Manager on operational and project-by-project basis by utilizing clear and open lines of communication with other business groups (IBP, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, Controlling, Procurement, Technical) to support data driven decision-making. They will be responsible for report order tracking, forecast, forecast accuracy, forecast changes, month-end reports.
