Job Description
A Fortune 500 client is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their team. He/she will be supporting a large-scale (hardware and software) Point of Sale Deployment for 700 accounts in North America (3000+ registers), as well as other Field Network Infrastructure projects (routers, switches, circuits, firewalls, etc). This will involve leading efforts in outlining project plans and timelines, milestone tracking, status reports, risk remediations, vendor management, stakeholder engagement, documentation, budget monitoring, resourcing, etc. to ensure that projects are delivered successfully, on-time, and producing results. Will be involved in all phases of the project life cycle; from further defining pre-deliverables, execution and deployment plans, integration management, technical documentation, support hand-off, continuous improvement, to final project review, etc. Should be extremely comfortable with communicating with all levels of the organization; executives, technical teams, the business, field users, stakeholders, vendors, etc.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, managing large-scale deployments for Field Network Infrastructure and Point-of-Sale Solutions
Experience managing hardware and software deployments/implementations related to; POS, routers, switches, firewalls, circuits, LAN/WAN, etc.
Experience with all phases of project innovation, monitoring, quality assurance, etc.; plans, roadmaps, processes, risks, resourcing, support hand-off, etc.
Extensive experience with 3rd party vendor mgmt. (hardware procurement, integration tasks, etc.) and coordinating between all levels of the organization
Experience with a variety of PM tools (i.e. MS Project, SmartSheet, ServiceNow, Visio) and the ability to quickly adapt to new techniques/environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Oracle Micros Simphony
Experience deploying a variety of POS Solutions
A background in Network Engineering/Administration/Support, etc.
