Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Payee Representative for a non-profit organization located in Eagleville, Pennsylvania. As the Representative, you will be under the direction of the Executive Director of The Arc Alliance Guardianship Services. You will perform a variety of accounting activities related to the payment and receipt of money. You will be asked to reconcile transactions into financial accounting systems and research transactions to locate or resolve discrepancies. This position is in-person at their location in Eagleville and requires travelling to the bank to drop off deposits or pick them up which is less than a mile total round trip.

Required Skills & Experience

Three or more years of current bookkeeping experience

Strong experience/knowledge in Microsoft Office Skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook

College Degree preferred

One year of administration experience

Two years of customer service experience

Abuse clearance required at time of hire

Record and identify all deposits directly received in bank account(s)

Record all individual rent and expense sheets for all individuals with Representative Payee.

Make a bank deposit(s) as needed.

Receive, sort, verify and enter all invoices for rents, services, and all expenses.

Write one check for every invoice and pre-arranged cash payout, appropriately document on check, ledger and file.

Disburse funds to individuals as needed and/or budgeted as scheduled.

Contact suppliers, real estate owners/landlords, utility companies, etc., as directed to clarify any billing/payment questions.

Notify the Executive Director of any problems that continually arise in dealing with specific individuals and/or their budget amount and budget sheets.

Complete the annual Social Security Administration Representative Payee/Medical Assistance Application report for each person served.

Supply financial information for client annual ISP and DPW reports, or as requested.

Maintain financial records and complete any required financial transactions as approved by the Executive Director (in addition to the routine transactions maintained as Representative Payee);

Supply information to Guardian for the annual guardianship report form for the County Registrar of Wills on all persons for whom The Arc Alliance is the Guardian of the Estate and/or Person
