Job Description
A large engineering company is looking for two IT Infrastructure Project Managers to help manage a portfolio of several different infrastructure based projects. Some projects are related to office moves/closures/mergers, migrating their central data storage or upgrading their corporate network.
The candidates should be well versed in IT Infrastructure (WAN/LAN/WLAN, Servers/Storage, Skype, Endpoint setup, etc.), and managing third-party IT resources to execute each job. They will be communicating with the business, vendors, and staff, and be able to document a scope of work for each, review budgets and ensure project deliverables are met. This role is a fully remote role with the potential for some light travel if needed on certain projects. This role is a six month contract and start immediately.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 + years of Infrastructure Project Management experience
- Experience communicating with the business, technical teams and third party vendors
- Ability to create documentation using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, etc.
- Able to work with vendors, purchase equipment and manage 3rd party vendors to execute each job
- Background in infrastructure projects, ideally an office relocation/data center migrations, etc.
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (Network, Servers/Storage, end user devices, Skype, Endpoint security)
- Ability to gather requirements, manage deliverables and review budgets
