Senior Financial Analyst

A Medical Device packaging company in the New Britain area is looking for a senior Financial Analyst. This person will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting and then reflecting information in a comprehensible manner. They will be responsible for variance reporting and production reviews identifying errors and making corrections where needed. This will likely require time spent on the floor to collaborate with various team members in production and manufacturing. This person will also be responsible for month and year end close, as well as forecasting for the future. This position will be 4 days on site and allow for one day remote work. On average this person will work about 45-50 hours/week. Strong excel skills and attention to detail is a must for this role.

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

* Experience working for a manufacturing company

* Experience with Standard Costing

* Able to review journal entries- debits and credits (how fix if they are incorrect)

* Strong in depth understanding in accounting (able to review journal entries)

* Proficient in excel- Pivot Table, V-Look ups, link in information, etc

* Problem Solving Skills

* Willing to get out on the floor and partner with operations.

* Prior Experience working in SAP

* CMA Cert (Certified Management Accounting)

* Fluent in Vietnamese
