A leading energy utility company in Portland OR is hiring a Remote Business Analyst to join their Customer Analytics team. This team is currently working cross functionally to manage the flow of data through several Customer Journeys. This consultant will be responsible for monitoring the entire end to end process of these journeys from ingestion to storage. This role will support the reporting and supporting the automation of this monitoring. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, and be passionate about the future of renewable energy, and creating a customer centric technical experience.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Monitoring the digital experience for customers within core channels (web, mobile, IVA, SMS, email) with a suite of digital tools and analytics platforms
- Analyzing online user behavior, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution
- Reporting on key metrics, analyzing and interpreting trends and providing actionable insights based on available analytics data
- Developing or enhancing digital dashboards for reporting, either in embedded analytics platforms, or leveraging visualization tools like Tableau, excel, etc.
- Identifying opportunities for tool/technology enhancements
Documenting the E2E monitoring and triage process to improve cross-functional collaboration amongst internal teams.
3-5+ years of experience as a Business or Data Analyst.
Experience with various customer data platforms, like Medallia, Twilio, Salesforce, or Oracle C2M.
Experience with web analytics tools like Quantum Metric and Google Tag Manager
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Oracle Analytics cloud.
Demonstrated proficiency in writing technical documentation.
Strong communication skills with a specialty in communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Snowflake, or similar cloud warehousing tools and able to write/modify queries
Experience in data analysis techniques and advanced Excel
