Description:
Under the direction of the Innovation EHS Manager, the Chemical Management Specialist ensures compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety requirements through chemical inventories, managing Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), coordinating waste disposal, and supporting environmental requirements. The role also supports the development and continuous improvement of chemical management processes while serving as a key operational partner for laboratory teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 2-5 years of relevant work experience in chemical management, chemical safety, environmental compliance, EHS, or laboratory operations
· Working knowledge of chemical inventory systems and SDS management
· Familiarity with hazardous waste regulations and chemical handling practices
· Knowledge of OSHA, DEQ, EPA, NIOSH, ANSI and NFPA regulations
· Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and priorities
· Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
· Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications skills
