Job Description
A client local to the Lake Oswego, Oregon area is looking for an entry-level Data Analyst to join their Car Hire team. This individual will be mentored by the Director of Car Hire Accounting to become a subject matter expert in Car Hire data, both within SQL Server and external databases. We are looking for an eager candidate with great learning agility. As the priorities may shift each day, responsibilities may include assisting in validating Car Hire specific data and analyzing new customer setups and product enhancements using customer data within SQL Server. These products investigate errors that occur on imports and exports, one-off reports and data pulls, discrepancies within the data itself, proof-of-concepts, and validation of new data sources. You will assist in creating ad-hoc queries to understand data patterns and provide feedback to the Car Hire Accounting department and external customers, as well as respond to external and internal requests in a timely and professional manner. As you become familiar with the environment, you will assist in managing the request process and prioritization of open items between customers, the Car Hire Accounting department, and the Process Excellence Specialist.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in associated field or 1-3 years equivalent work experience in Data Analytics.
Proficient writing SQL queries / T-SQL queries
Knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
Proficient in MS Office as well as high proficiency in Excel (V-Lookup/Pivot Tables) and experience in MS Access
Must have a strong work ethic, with demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
Need to have the ability to show initiative and quickly adapt to rapid change in a professional and positive manner
