Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Mechanical Service Sales Representative to drive new business through the sale of preventative maintenance agreements and energy-efficient solutions. This is a field based role focused on building a territory from the ground up through high-volume outreach, consultative selling, and strong pipeline management.
This individual will spend the majority of their time prospecting (cold calling, door-to-door, networking), meeting with facility leaders, identifying system inefficiencies, and closing new business. Once deals are closed, accounts are transitioned to account management while the rep continues to focus on new revenue generation. Company vehicle, credit card, phone, and laptop will be provided.

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience (open to HVAC, staffing, medical/pharma, or other service-based sales)
• Proven experience in a field / new business development role
• Comfortable with high-volume outreach (calls, in-person prospecting)
• Strong consultative selling skills and ability to discuss ROI/value
Ability to work in a field-based role and travel locally (valid driver’s license required)

• Experience selling HVAC, mechanical services, or maintenance agreements
• Background working with commercial or industrial facilities
• Familiarity with CRM tools and pipeline management
Technical understanding of HVAC systems
