Job Description

A public utility company is hiring a Project Scheduler and Controller supporting the PMO group. The position will provide support for project scheduling and project controls functions, with a primary focus on construction scheduling, work planning, and project tracking. At times, the role will also support project financial forecasting and material tracking. This position works closely with Project Managers and the PMO team to support accurate planning, execution, and reporting across the project portfolio.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Project Controls or a related field.
• Experience supporting construction scheduling and work planning.
• Experience with project tracking, schedule updates, and progress reporting.
• Strong familiarity with Excel and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).
Experience supporting utility, infrastructure, or construction projects.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience assisting with project forecasts, cost tracking, and material tracking.
• Experience working with SAP or other enterprise project or financial systems.
Experience supporting large or complex capital projects ($1M+).
