Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Seasonal Story Designer to support a large sports lifestyle retail brand in the Beaverton, Oregon area. In this role, you will be part of the North America Seasonal Retail Brand Design team—the group responsible for driving retail innovation across the brand’s largest geography and delivering compelling seasonal storytelling for the Holiday ’25 season.
As a Lead-level designer, you will guide creative development across one or multiple workstreams, partnering closely with internal teams and agency partners to bring highly engaging, immersive concepts to life. You will contribute to multiple retail activations operating on an 8–10 week workback schedule. Strong creative ownership, comfort navigating ambiguity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to the end-to-end design process, driving concept development through exploration of color, materiality, texture, proportion, scale, and environmental application.
Partner closely with the Sr. Creative Director and Design Director to support long-term vision, strategic direction, and design cohesion across seasonal narratives.
Develop polished presentation materials in Figma or Keynote that clearly communicate design intent to cross-functional partners and leadership.
Collaborate with producers, cross-functional design partners, internal teams (Brand, Retail Brand, Brand Design, Digital, etc.) and external agencies to ensure concepts are executable, aligned, and meet functional requirements.
Contribute to evolving the brand’s standards, design ethos, and processes, actively building knowledge of brand systems, retail environments, and consumer experiences.
Manage design timelines and deliverables, ensuring work is aligned with schedules, budgets, and operational workflows.
Provide direction to external agencies, offering feedback on design iterations, production details, redlines, mechanicals, and installation deliverables.
Travel 10–20% to support installation reviews, production oversight, and in-market experiences.
