Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant (Fixed Assets) to join a large corporate accounting team. This role provides professional accounting services in a capital‑intensive, clean‑energy–focused industry, applying U.S. GAAP and the FERC Uniform System of Accounts. The position involves preparing and analyzing fixed asset reports, supporting SEC and regulatory filings, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with ERP systems and large data sets.

Required Skills & Experience

*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
*7+ years of accounting experience.
*Advanced knowledge of GAAP and strong Excel skills.
*Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

*CPA or advanced degree.
*Knowledge of FERC Uniform System of Accounts.
*Experience in fixed asset accounting and depreciation for regulated utilities.
*Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
