Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a PTA to provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Brookings, Oregon. You will implement treatment plans designed to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.

- Implements physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assists patients with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, gait training, and use of assistive devices.
-Applies modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy in accordance with clinic protocols.
-Observes and reports patient responses to treatment, including progress and any adverse reactions.
-Documents daily treatment notes and communicates findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
-Educates patients and families on home exercise programs and safe movement strategies.
-Maintains a clean and safe treatment environment by following infection control and safety procedures.
-Participates in staff meetings, case conferences, and clinic quality improvement initiatives.
-Supports clinic operations by preparing treatment areas and assisting with patient flow.
-Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager or supervising Physical Therapist.

Required Skills & Experience

- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Licensed by the Oregon Physical Therapy Licensing Board to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Current BLS certification (or obtain prior to start date).
- One year of experience in outpatient orthopedics or related rehabilitation setting preferred.
- New graduates considered with strong clinical experience.
