Job Description
The Payroll Administrator supports the Payroll Manager in managing and executing payroll operations across Oregon and Washington. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Review and update employee time records, resolving missing or incomplete entries, and finalize timecards for payroll export.
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records for a multi-state workforce.
Process bi-weekly payroll cycles, including data imports into the payroll system.
Administer garnishments and verify tax withholdings.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Execute historical edits and process off-cycle payments as needed.
Manage final pay for terminating employees, including manual check issuance when required.
Respond to general HR and payroll inquiries or escalate to appropriate team members.
Handle union dues reporting and payments.
Process bonus and incentive payouts on bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedules.
Support quarter-end and year-end payroll activities.
Perform prior quarter adjustments as necessary.
Contribute to special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience
*Completion of high school or equivalent education.
*3 to 5 years of professional experience in payroll administration.
*Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, *PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
*Must be 18 years of age or older.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
*Preferred Qualifications
*Experience using HRIS platforms, especially ADP Payroll and Time; familiarity with Vantage HCM is a plus.
*Understanding of accounting practices, including general ledger entries.
*Knowledge of 401(k) administration and related compliance procedures.
*Familiarity with federal labor regulations and state-specific wage and hour laws.
