A client is looking for a Sr. Project Manager who has experience leading a multi year ERP - SIS transformation. This position will be a hybrid role that will be 3 days onsite, and 2 days remote - and will be an 18-24 month contract with opportunity for extension. This client is looking for someone who has worked in higher education or similar and has done this type of project before. In this role you will be helping this client with a migration from Ellucian Colleague ERP/SIS migration to Saas to modernize their core admin systems across student services, finances, and HR Operations. You will lead the migration of Ellucian Colleague system from on prem to Ellucian's SaaS (Software as a Service Platform).This is a unique opportunity to lead a transformative, mission-critical project that will impact the entire campus community. Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• PMP or similar certification
• 5+ years as a Project Manager with strong communication and leadership skills
Experience leading a multiyear end to end ERP - SIS transformation
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based ERP/SIS systems in higher education, preferable Ellucian Colleague or similar (Oracle student cloud, Jenzabar, Workday student, anthology, unit 4, classe 365)
• Proven leadership, vendor management, negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of higher education administrative processes (e.g., registration, financial aid, payroll, budgeting) and how ERP/SIS platforms support them.
• Proficiency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, manage complex schedules, and adhere to tight deadlines.
