As a Building Engineer 2, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of various building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, locks, doors, and automation systems. Responsibilities include conducting preventative maintenance, handling repair tasks, and coordinating with external vendors and inspectors. 4+ years in building engineering, building maintenance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of building engineering/maintenance systems including: commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, boilers, plumbers, building automation systems, and life safety systems.
Intermediate experience using hand tools, power tools, and equipment of building trades.
Familiarity with CMMS and Building Management Software (BMS).
LME or LBME certification.
Certifications including: OSHA 10/30, Abatement & CPR/First Aid, EPA/Refrigerant, and/or BOC I & II.
