Job Description
An insurance client is looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join their team. This person needs deep insurance domain knowledge and a passion for translating business needs into actionable data insights. This role will lead stakeholder engagements, define data requirements, and shape delivery roadmaps. This team sits remotely and works core PST hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead discussions with business stakeholders to identify data needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Document business data requirements and map them to current and future-state data and technology landscapes.
• Develop and maintain delivery roadmaps and project plans for data initiatives.
• Create high-quality documentation and presentations using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Clarify ambiguous use cases and ensure alignment between business goals and data solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong background in insurance business processes and products.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and data requirement gathering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in planning and managing data delivery initiatives.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Python / SQL experience
- Databricks experience
