Job Description
An insurance client is looking for a Data Modeler with a strong understanding of core insurance products to join the team. This person will be designing and maintaining robust data models to support the enterprise data and analytics teams. It's critical that this person have experience working in insurance specific lines of business within the data modeling domain. Tooling experience with ER / Studio or similar platforms is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop logical and physical data models for insurance-related data domains.
• Apply advanced modeling techniques including relational, dimensional, and data vault methodologies.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clarify ambiguous requirements and translate them into structured data models.
• Ensure models align with enterprise architecture and support data governance and quality standards.
• Maintain and evolve metadata and documentation for data models.

Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in insurance data modeling across multiple lines of business.
• Expertise in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Databricks, Python, PowerBI
• Cloud experience, specifically with Azure cloud
