Job Description

As an Electronic Rework Technician, you will have the outstanding opportunity to engage with some of the most advanced technology in the world. You will be at the forefront of innovation, working on products that are crafting the future of computing.

- Perform precision soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) with outstanding accuracy, including fine pitch surface-mount technology (SMT) rework.
- Modify electrical circuits to meet dynamic product requirements flawlessly, including wire modifications and trace cutting on boards.
- Assemble and rigorously test cables to ensure world-class functionality.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to guide detailed rework efforts.
- Maintain an organized inventory of components, ensuring seamless rework processes.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to understand and implement detailed rework instructions, contributing to a highly cohesive team environment.
- Assist in secondary tasks including inventory management, lab clean-ups, unboxing, and offering a hand where needed.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of PCB soldering experience
- Successfully passed a soldering test, demonstrating your proven skills.
- Experience with small components (0201 preferred, 0402 acceptable).
- Experience with wire modifications or soldering probe wires to small components.
- Familiarity with common components found on a circuit board
- Experience with Ball Grid Array (BGA) machines is a plus, but not required.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience, showcasing your capability to compete in a fast-paced environment.
- A High School diploma is required; however, an Associates degree (A.S.) or equivalent experience is preferred. A Bachelors degree (B.S.) or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Outstanding soldering skills and a comprehensive understanding of electronic circuits.
- The ability to work independently with strong attention to detail, a flexible approach, and a proactive attitude.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, where you can successfully implement your expertise to meet ambitious goals.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with Ball Grid Array (BGA) machines is a plus, but not required.
