Job Description

- Safety: Adhere to all company and customer safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Tool Installation: Perform installation and T1 adjustment tasks on semiconductor equipment at varying levels of complexity.
- Process Qualification: Perform Process qualifications (T2) using the various PFC documentation for each toolset, T2 tasks on semiconductor equipment at varying levels of complexity.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, progressing from routine to complex system-level troubleshooting at higher certification levels.
- Planning: Prepare for installations, repairs, and maintenance activities by coordinating required tools, parts, and resources.
- Travel: This position requires extensive travel to various customer sites. Travel could be as high as 80%. It varies depending on customers' schedules, training assignments, and the company's needs.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, colleagues, and management to report progress and issues. Collect and retain all data for T1/T2 and submit all completed documents at the completion of each Project.
- Team Interaction: Collaborate with team members to support project goals and share technical knowledge.
Self-Improvement: Continuously enhance technical skills through training and on-the-job experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment installation, maintenance, or a related technical field preferred
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic customer-facing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Direct experience with Kokusai systems preferred.
- Certifications: Industry-specific certifications or training in semiconductor equipment servicing are a plus.
