Job Description

The Program Delivery Manager at Columbia Distributing will oversee the implementation of various projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing operational changes, technical innovations, supplier or brand acquisitions, physical configurations of buildings, and significant process changes. The Program Delivery Manager will also manage and mentor other project managers, taking a hands-on approach to project management. Day to Day Breakdown: 50% People Management / 50% Project Management & Stakeholder Management

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in a related field.
5+ years of project and program management
Experience supporting projects related to disaster recovery, infrastructure, and ERP upgrades.
Experience with enterprise applications and other technology domains
Knowledge of supply chain and logistics including warehousing and distribution
Experience in managing/overseeing project managers
Strong experience in change management principals

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working in an Agile Environment
PMP or PMI certifications
Experience working with Vermont Information Processing (VIP) ERP system

Communication Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with a wide range of communication styles and relationship-building skills. Strong collaboration and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence project stakeholders and leaders.
Technical Capacity: Proficiency with analytical tools and methods for data collection, organization, and deriving actionable insights. Experience in leading software development and implementation. Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Business Acumen: Understanding of the general workings of the industry within which the organization functions.
Project Management: Excellent planning and organizing skills. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Strong leadership and change management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
Leadership: Exceptional work ethic, enthusiasm, and drive to succeed. Demonstrated ability to tactfully influence executives, leaders, and project stakeholders. Ability to assemble and manage cross-functional project teams. Direct and supervise vendors, consultants, and team members.
Personal Effectiveness/Credibility: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
People Management: This role involves leading cross-functional project teams and developing strong, trusting, and effective relationships with operations, sales, and administrative leadership throughout the company. The Project Delivery Manager will also assist other Project Managers as needed.
