Job Description

A company in the energy sector is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support procurement operations in a fast-paced, environment where adaptability and proactiveness are key. This role focuses on purchase orders, requisitions, change orders, and competitive tendering, requiring someone who can navigate ambiguity, take initiative, and keep tasks on track within tight deadlines. Responsibilities include reviewing procurement requests for consistency, ensuring compliance with policies and master terms agreements, and supporting RFPs and sole sourcing. The specialist will assist with procurement planning, records management, and SharePoint setup while analyzing deliverables and maintaining cost-saving strategies. Strong customer service skills are essential, as this person will work closely with department leaders. Ideal candidates have experience in a manufacturing or service-based environment, are comfortable reviewing terms and conditions, and can drive efficiency while maintaining attention to detail.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of experience working in the procurement, supply chain, contracts and/or compliance space.
Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Strong MS Excel experience.
Experience in basic contract principles and negotiation processes.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in renewable energy development, renewable energy equipment or services, or the utility sector, on either the supply or demand side.
SAP, Oracle and/or Coupa experience
