An insurance company in Portland, OR is looking for a Technology Delivery Manager to join their team. You will be supporting the Actuarial Transformation within IT, by translating what the Product Owner and technical team members are prioritizing into Jira. This candidate must come from a technical engineering background and have a strong understanding of Azure Databricks. Background working with actuarial teams and/or stakeholders is a plus. You must have a strong understanding of Agile concepts, and be able to communicate with technical team members and business leaders alike. This opportunity works core PST hours with flexibility around 9am-3pm PST.

- 3-5 years of experience as a Technology Delivery Manager or Product Owner / Manager
- Past experience in a technical role, such as Data Engineering or Data Scientist
- Strong technical acumen with Azure Databricks and/or Dataiku
- Strong experience with Confluence / Jira
- Strong understanding of Agile concepts
- Past DevOps experience and understanding
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical team members, and translate business needs
- Insurance experience, specifically with Digital Transformation experience
- Azure Cloud experience
- Actuarial team understanding and background
