Insight Global is looking for a Systems Administrator I to support a Developer Software Engineering labs computer systems, focusing on high-performance computing clusters in a Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, configure, and maintain high-performance computing clusters.
Install and troubleshoot servers, GPUs, and software.
Develop automation scripts for cluster provisioning.
Provide user support and maintain documentation.
Manage custom OS provisioning using tools like Deploy Commander and FOG.
Resolve infrastructure incidents and requests from support teams.
Support hardware assembly, parts replacement, and inventory management.
Collaborate with security teams to design lab networks.
Ensure security compliance and maintain IT service management systems.

Experience in Enterprise Linux (RedHat, SUSE, Ubuntu) and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
2+ years in Storage Support Administration (SAN/3PAR).
2+ years in Client Support Administration (Windows XP, 7, 10, 11).
2+ years in Virtualization (MS Hyper-V, VMware).
Familiarity with automated OS provisioning tools.
High-performance Linux clustering experience.
Knowledge of TCP/IP management and scripting languages (Perl, Python).
