Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Application Scientist Team Lead to join a leading semiconductor client in the Hillsboro Oregon area. An ideal candidate is someone who is a highly technical, motivated individual to support growth in the metrology market. This individual will be responsible for leading a small team of highly motivated engineers to develop high-value, innovative materials metrology applications in semiconductor manufacturing. He/She will apply scientific methodologies and robust statistical techniques to optimize applications for the high-volume manufacturing (HVM) fab environment: and provide region support for new product introduction and evaluation activities (beta, head-to-head).

Required Skills & Experience

- Degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or relevant fields. Graduate degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of managerial/team lead experience
- 3+ years of Surface Science Experience
Ultra High Vacuum (commonly mentioned as UHV) experience
Ion mass spectroscopy (alias for SIMS).
Material Characterization

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Material Characterization Experience
- SIMS experience
- XPS experience
