Job Description

Insight Global is currently looking for a Sales Manager to join a growing technology company in the Portland, OR area. This Sales Manager will be managing a sales team, responsible for helping the team in identifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities. This individual must demonstrate the behaviors associated with a high-performance sales culture, specifically for prospecting new business, upselling and cross-selling within their existing customer base and delivering results against a quota. This is a permanent opportunity that requires to work onsite 5x/week from 7:00-3:30PM PST.



Your main responsibilities

* Provide strong commercial sales leadership, vision and direction for the sales team ensuring they understand and execute on the company strategy and exceed their monthly quotas.

* Continually build pipeline of new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.

* Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, while working to increase the account base through prospecting, networking, and following up on generated leads.

* Identify opportunities for upselling and cross selling and work closely with the sales team to close any sales opportunities.

* Manage a team of account managers, and ensure they are provided with the necessary tools to successfully identify opportunities and execute on those opportunities.

* Expand the sales team with outside and inside sales focused resources medium to longer term.

* Be accountable for and work closely with your team to ensure activity, pipeline, and revenue goals are exceeded on a monthly basis.

* Be an authority on our clients products and conduct discovery calls, presentations, and demos with prospects and customers.

* Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in our CRM system.

* Standardize, optimize, and automate existing processes and tasks and put in place new processes to ensure successful execution of our sales strategy.

* Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Must:

* Four-year degree

* 2+ years of experience managing a Sales team

* 3+ years of B2B Software, Hardware, or Telematics Sales experience

* Comfortable working in a startup environment
