Job Description

A client in the Portland, Oregon area is looking for a Service Desk Technician to join their team! In this position you will be working on a growing team of ten individuals on the Service Desk. This position offers lots of training and room for growth -- as individuals are given 2 hours of training per week and this company has a structured training process and value growth for their employees. You will also support this company's clients and there could be a chance of being on-site at a client occasionally once/twice a month, so reliable transportation is important. In this position you will be working mainly Tier I oriented tickets and will be responsible for monitoring the que, monitoring tickets, answering the phone when users call in, purchasing hardware, client offboarding and onboarding and hardware/software troubleshooting. . The devices you are troubleshooting consist of laptop, printers, desktops, and some mobile devices. We are looking for a go getter who is eager and looking to grow in their career!

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-3 years of experience as a Service Desk or Help Desk Technician

- 1-2 years of MS365 experience in a Service Desk or Help Desk role.

- RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management Software) experience

- Light server infrastructure and network infrastructure experience

- Experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID

- Experience with a Ticketing System

- Firewall VPN's and troubleshooting

- Security Fundamentals

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience working for numerous clients or experience working in an MSP environment.

* Certifications: SC200, SC300, A+, Azure Fundamentals or Network +.
