Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Process Engineers to join their team in Hillsboro, OR. As a Field Process Engineer you will be designing, implementing and optimizing chemical processes in semiconductor capital equipment. The day to day may include the following:



* Working with the field teams to support and troubleshoot issues on new products.

* Developing proposals for equipment and process design improvements, and conducting experiments.

* Documenting all findings during testing and design to ensure learnings are incorporated in future rollout packages.

* Working closely with the customer to design and conduct experiments to meet the customer's needs.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

* Process and equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills

* Be able to use common materials characterization techniques such as SEM, EDAX, TXRF, and SIMS to solve problems

* Ph.D./M.S in chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or physics

*Ability to travel, as necessary and possibly for extended periods of time

* 7+ years of experience in areas of processing, developing and characterizing thin films deposition

*Strong experience designing and conducting experiments, in addition to measuring and interpreting experimental output

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Strong understanding and previous experience of optimizing film deposition and process development
