As a Senior Citrix Infrastructure Service Engineer, you will join a team of highly motivated individuals that provide virtual applications to 150,000+ caregivers across our enterprise. Your role will be multifaceted and will require engagement with different technology pillars across the organization. Additionally, strong relationships with various clinical teams, and regular engagement with various technology vendors to stay in alignment with their current and future offerings is a must. Internal to our technology pillar, you will work closely with the SIE (Service Integration Engineering) team, as well as our Virtual Applications & Desktop team to ensure stable, reliable, and performant delivery of our application, VDI portfolio, and infrastructure to all caregivers across the enterprise.
Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR equivalent education/experience.
-5 years+ as a Citrix Engineer focused on VDI
-Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
-Experience with n-tier solutions.
-Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually).
-Experience influencing software engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet -Quality of Service Expectations.
-Advanced knowledge with PowerShell scripting
-Knowledge and experience working with SCRUM & Agile frameworks.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience managing large Citrix environments across multiple data centers.
-Citrix&Azure certifications such as CCP-V, CCE-V, CC-VAD-MA, Azure Administrator Associate.
-Knowledge and experience with Citrix image management such as MCS and PVS.
