Job Description

**Can be remote in Oregon or SW Washington**



MAJOR CHALLENGES

High volume of work during Open Enrollment (October through January).

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Changing environment.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Supporting individual members with their accounts, including eligibility, enrollment, premium billing and delinquency.

Provide excellent customer service for all interactions.

Researches and investigates member issues.

Maintains confidentiality of all information related to members and employees

Other duties as assigned.



ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates with other MA teams and caregivers to address concerns or complaints.

Assists with developing procedures

Actively participates in team projects and meetings.

Self manages daily tasks with quick turnaround time and minimal assistance.

Ability to deescalate calls while maintaining strong customer skills.

Maintains industry knowledge - staying abreast of regulatory changes and ACA requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years' in customer service, call center, or health insurance

Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel, data manipulation, and web based applications

Knowledge of member eligibility, premium billing and payments, delinquency and ACA guidelines

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working in healthcare insurance
