Insight Global is looking for an IT Support Technician to help one of the local school districts in Oregon. The school district is upgrading from PBX to a cloud voice phone system, MS Teams voice, so this person will be onsite at least 3 days a week troubleshooting any IT related issues within their MS applications. This person will be handling ticket escalations and assisting some users remotely. Being able to document the steps on how to assist someone with the issues will help with similar type escalations throughout the contract. During the contract, this individual will be assisting with PC imaging and deployment across several devices. Some travel will be involved to help with hardware and network related issues, so reliable transportation is required for the position. Any travel expenses will be reimbursed during the contract and with good performance this individual could be extended/brought on full time.
2+ years of Desktop support related experience, specifically remote assistance
2+ years of PC hardware and machine imaging build & deployment experience
IT documentation experience
Troubleshooting MS applications (Teams Voice, Outlook, OneDrive, Excel, Access)
Microsoft 365 environment preferred.
