- Answer incoming phone calls in a timely, professional manner with courtesy and respect
- Responsible for the interactive process that occurs over the telephone with the patient that identifies the nature and urgency of the patient's healthcare needs and then determines appropriate disposition
- Use the nursing process to make accurate assessments of patients and develop appropriate care plans based off those assessments
- Provide guidance to non-clinical Patient Service Representative (PSRs) during challenging patient calls that require clinical judgement
