Job Description

An employer is looking for an Inventory Planning Analyst in Portland, WA. This is a hybrid onsite role Tuesday-Thursday, working remote Monday & Friday. This team is dedicated to demand and supply chain management for Asia and Mexico. The team is looking for a strong analyst, who can use Tableau daily to edit dashboards, and pull/merge/manipulate data. They are also looking for someone who has expert excel, strong reporting, and overall have a data driven mindset. The ideal candidate will also have an understand inventory strategy, capacity, planning, and controls and understand the language of the environment. On a day-to-day, they will work cross functionally to understand category and product initiatives, manage the inventory, and ultimately analyze the data for buying strategies. They will develop inventory plans by setting and maintaining parameters/ buffers, reporting, and analyzing trends. This individual should have experience measuring performance to ensure the accuracy and control of inventory balances through development, implementation, and administration. Lastly, they will continually evaluate and asses internal and external data plans, capabilities, and constraints to understand impact to effective inventory management execution. Required Skills & Experience

-2+ years of experience within analytics

-Experience with Tableau

-Background with data analysis, data collection, and data visualization

-Experience in inventory management, planning, capacity, and strategy

-Experience with buying and control processes

-Experience with inventory/product forecasting

-Advanced Excel Skills ( Vlookups, formulas, pivots, Macros, etc)

-Strong communication both written and verbal

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-International experience

-Hands on experience w/ SAP

-Experience working within apparel and/or footwear
