A client is seeking a seasoned Manual QA tester to join a SaaS based company! This company offers fully remote working opportunities and ample room for growth. This resource will be responsible for, but not limited to the following.
- Write and report on multi step test cases based on product user stories
- Write and report acceptance criteria based on user stories and Jira tickets
- Execute test cases of typically minimal complexity for all testing assignments
- Run manual browser tests, including Sales Force, SMS and emails
- Write and run black box browser scripted tests via a browser based testing service
- Write developer ready regression tickets for black box browser scripts + manual
- Assist with documenting and executing black box to ensure effective product test coverage
- Work with the development and product teams to develop strategies for testing
- Identify and document software defects in issue tracking system and proactively communicate with software developer
- Re-open tickets as needed
- Be an individual contributor and perform other duties as assigned
- Validates API's manually and through automation
- 5+ years of experience in strong manual quality assurance work
- Understanding of Black Box and Regression testing
- Strong time management abilities and previous experience working remote
-Professional experience with Jira
