Job Description
An enterprise level sports retail company in the Portland, OR area is looking to bring on two new Vue.JS, React.js, or Angular centric Software Engineers to their team within the Design Engineering space. This group is focused on incorporating Apparel and footwear sustainability data across different materials, to showcase a products carbon footprint when mass produced, helping encourage sustainability at all levels of the product lifecycle. This persons time will be broken down into these areas: 70% core development using Vue.JS/JavaScript, 10% coordination between Tech Leads, other Developers, and QAs to ensure efficient consumption, 10% discovery work and analysis with other departments in the Product Innovation space, and 10% agile ceremonies. In order to be successful this person will come to the table with a demonstrated history of hands on development with Vue.JS, AWS, React.JS, and various testing frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (emphasis on Frontend technologies) using JavaScript
-3+ years of experience with front-end JavaScript based frameworks like React.JS, Vue.Js, or Angular
-3+ years of experience in an AWS environment (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, s3, etc.)
-2+ years of experience in UX design and development
-Experience with testing frameworks like Selenium, Mocha, and/or Jest
