Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Digital Writers to work for one of our larger retail clients in the PNW. The role is located in Portland, OR and you will be expected to be onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and can work remotely Monday and Fridays.



As a Digital Writer for the Global Brand Creative Studio, you'll sit on a Global Brand Creative team focused on work that is being done across our client's digital marketing and digital product and design ecosystem.



Responsibilities Include

- Shape long-term and seasonal concepts in partnership with the Brand Narrative team

- Deliver best-in-class storytelling, with deliverables ranging from social content frameworks and engaging push notifications to in-depth features, campaign content, and scriptwriting. The tone we are looking for is somewhat cheeky or fun!

- Ensure our content meets and exceeds the highest standards: always on-brand, culturally aware, sport-authentic, informative, and engaging.

- Work strategically to drive brand awareness and deliver strong engagement through creative deliverables.

- Keep up to date with emerging trends in sports, design, culture, media, and technology as relevant to the clients and the writing team.

- Partner effectively across teams and dimensions--editorial, art direction, styling, photography, production, post-production, merchandising and marketing--throughout the creative process.

- Ensure all projects are well-planned, creatively exceptional, and delivered on-time.

- Review project work for highest standards of quality, consistency, accuracy, and successful completion.

- Continually encourage and empower the team around you, working in a hands-on and highly collaborative manner to produce fresh, distinctive, effective storytelling through a high volume of work and widely varying end uses.



Who Will You Work With

- You will partner with the Brand Narrative team (Sr. Director Brand Narrative, the Brand Narrative Directors and Managers, Senior Copywriters and Digital Copywriters) and your studio teammates, Global Marketing and Merchandising, the Women's Social Team, the Content Production team, Geo/City 365 studios, and Business Affairs.

Required Skills & Experience

- Writing experience in a corporate setting, agency or e-commerce

- Must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and ability to self-manage a heavy workload and hit deadlines

- A talent for working with a team and communicating effectively

- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to quickly switch focus when needed

- Strong understanding of web content and what makes for a compelling experience

- Talent for storytelling across multiple media

- Experience mentoring or leading a team a plus

- Absolutely must be naturally curious and a storyteller
