Job Description

BMO is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Bilingual Onboarding Specialist (French/English) to support clients throughout the implementation and onboarding process for Treasury & Payment Solutions products and services. This role serves as a key point of contact for commercial banking clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience while coordinating with internal partners across banking operations, sales, technology, and product teams.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for commercial banking clients during the onboarding and implementation process.
Guide clients through onboarding requirements, documentation collection, account setup, and Treasury & Payment Solutions activation.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Product teams to ensure timely implementation.
Communicate onboarding milestones, timelines, and next steps to clients in both English and French.
Respond to client inquiries and resolve onboarding-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor onboarding progress and proactively identify and escalate risks or delays.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation within internal systems.
Support client training and education on Treasury & Payment Solutions products and platforms.
Ensure all onboarding activities comply with regulatory, risk, and internal policy requirements.
Deliver an exceptional client experience that strengthens client relationships and drives satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and verbal).
2-3 years of customer service, client support, account coordination, or onboarding experience within a large enterprise organization.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
