Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Automation Engineer to support a large enterprise banking client undergoing a major shift in how they manage vulnerability remediation and operational automation.
This team is evolving from traditional patch management into owning end-to-end automation capabilities across the enterprise, starting with a key internal platform. The objective is to enable applications to be safely restarted at any time, respond to zero-day vulnerabilities at scale, and eliminate large, manual bridge processes currently used to mitigate risk.
The long-term goal is to design and deliver a standardized, modular automation framework built on Ansible AAP2 / Ansible Tower that application teams can plug into independently.
This is not a traditional infrastructure or DevOps role. This is a highly specialized engineering profile that sits between infrastructure and application teams, focused on integration, orchestration, and automation at scale.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.
