Job Description

The Data Quality Manager will be joining the Data Foundations and Data Management team. This role will play a critical part in establishing, enhancing, and operationalizing enterprise data quality capabilities across multiple business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining data quality frameworks, developing data quality rules and standards, implementing monitoring processes, and partnering with business and technology teams to improve the overall health and trustworthiness of enterprise data assets.
This is a strategic data management role focused on data quality governance, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement. It is not a QA or software testing position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise data quality initiatives across multiple business domains and data platforms.
- Define, implement, and maintain data quality frameworks, standards, policies, and best practices.
- Develop and manage data quality rules, controls, thresholds, and monitoring processes to proactively identify and remediate data issues.
- Partner with Data Governance, Data Management, Analytics, and Business teams to establish critical data elements (CDEs) and associated quality metrics.
- Assess and recommend data quality platforms, tools, and capabilities to support organizational objectives.
- Establish data quality scorecards, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with data owners, data stewards, and business stakeholders to improve data quality processes and accountability.
- Drive root cause analysis activities and support remediation efforts for recurring data quality issues.
- Ensure data quality controls are aligned with broader data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and leverage AI-enabled capabilities within data quality platforms to improve automation, monitoring, and issue detection.
- Support enterprise-wide data initiatives involving master data management (MDM), analytics, and reporting platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Management, or related enterprise data disciplines.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide data quality frameworks and operating models.
- Strong understanding of:
- Data Quality Management
- Data Governance
- Data Stewardship
- Metadata Management
- Critical Data Elements (CDEs)
- Data Quality Monitoring and Reporting
- Experience defining and implementing data quality rules, controls, metrics, and scorecards.
- Experience working with enterprise data quality tools such as:
- Informatica Data Quality (preferred)
- Collibra Data Quality
- Talend Data Quality
- OR Similar industry-leading platforms
- Experience assessing and recommending data management or data quality platforms and capabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Experience operating within complex enterprise environments supporting analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Financial Services or Banking industry experience.
- Experience supporting data quality initiatives involving large financial datasets.
- Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) platforms and processes.
- Experience incorporating AI capabilities into data quality processes, including:
- Platform-native AI functionality
- Automated issue detection
- Intelligent monitoring and anomaly identification
- Generative AI use cases within data management
- Experience working alongside Data Governance teams and broader data governance programs.
