Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Monitoring & Testing Specialist to support control testing and risk assessment activities across a financial services environment.
This individual will be responsible for executing testing, monitoring, and operational activities to evaluate control effectiveness and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves performing detailed reviews of business processes and artifacts, analyzing data to identify risks or gaps, and providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
The candidate will conduct complex testing and fieldwork, document findings, and support issue identification and root cause analysis. They will also create and maintain testing documentation including workpapers and reports, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
This position requires strong analytical thinking, the ability to work independently on complex tasks, and the ability to partner with internal stakeholders to drive effective risk and control outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience
4–6 years of experience in risk, compliance, audit, or control testing
Experience executing control testing and evaluating control effectiveness
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify issues
Experience performing reviews of business processes and documentation
Ability to conduct root cause analysis and clearly communicate findings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with stakeholders across business units
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong documentation skills (testing reports, workpapers, findings)
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in banking or financial services environment
Background in internal audit, compliance testing, or operational risk
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and control standards
Experience with program or project management
Exposure to enterprise-wide risk or governance functions
