Job Description
The Data Management Analyst will support the Master Data and ERP operations, with a focus on improving data quality, supporting business processes, and driving workflow efficiencies.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to identify, analyze, and resolve data issues within ERP systems (primarily JD Edwards, with exposure to other platforms as applicable). You will play a key role in maintaining accurate master data, supporting governance initiatives, and contributing to process improvements across functions such as Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash.
This is a highly collaborative and analytical role suited for someone who can bridge the gap between business and data - understanding how data impacts operations, identifying inefficiencies, and helping drive improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support master data accuracy across key domains (customers, vendors, materials, etc.)
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues within ERP systems (JDE preferred; SAP/Oracle also acceptable)
- Partner with business teams to understand data needs and improve processes
- Analyze data using tools such as Excel and basic SQL to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Support workflow and process improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround times
- Contribute to data governance activities, including data standards, controls, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data quality and consistency across systems
